Self Care and Functional Wellness

Self-Care & Wellness

Begin with what you’re noticing.

You don’t need a diagnosis, a medical concern or a specific problem to begin observing your body more closely.

The Self-Care & Wellness Entry Point is designed for people who want to better understand their day-to-day function, body signals, sensations and patterns through a somatic lens.

Using the Somatic Self-Care System™ and the RSVP Method™ — Recognize Symptoms. View Patterns. — you’ll learn how to become more curious about what your body is communicating and how your lived experience may be influencing the way you function, adapt and recover.

You may begin here if you’re noticing things such as changes in energy, tension, digestion, sleep, recovery, stress response, breathing, movement or other everyday body experiences that you’d simply like to understand better.

This pathway is not about searching for what is wrong.

It is about learning to observe what is happening.

Through guided observation, we can begin organizing:

  • what you are noticing
  • when it happens
  • what seems to influence it
  • what changes it
  • how it affects your day-to-day function
  • how your body responds and recovers over time

Your observations can then become useful information for your own self-care and, when appropriate, something you can communicate more clearly with a healthcare provider.

A good place to begin when you’re thinking:

“I’m noticing something in my body and I want to understand the pattern.”

Observe. Learn. Function Better.
